JD(S) worker’s murder turns flashpoint for allies

The murder is the latest flashpoint to emerge between coalition partners Congress and JD(S) in the latter’s stronghold. While the police have registered an FIR naming eight people in the gruesome killing of 48-year-old Prakash, JD(S) has blamed Congress workers. Prakash, 48, was the husband of former Mandya Zilla Panchayat president Lalitha.
