Top CBI duo benched to cleanse agency: Jaitley

The decision to send CBI director Alok Verma and special director Rakesh Asthana on leave was intended to cleanse the premier investigating agency and ensure its professional functioning, finance minister Arun Jaitley has said. “You always hope sense will prevail.
