MJ Akbar a perfect gentleman, says ex-colleague

Joyeeta Basu, who worked with Akbar for 15 years, described him as "a perfect gentleman" and said she believed the allegations were motivated. Basu, editor of The Sunday Guardian, a paper founded by Akbar, appeared before additional metropolitan magistrate Samar Vishal as first of six complainant witnesses.
