Gaja cyclone wreaks damage in Tamil Nadu

The cyclone that crossed Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coast caused damage to properties, particularly in Vedharanyam in Nagapattinam district. The strong winds damaged several thatched houses and uprooted many trees in Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Pudukkottai districts. However, there were no reports of any loss of lives.
