Bill in US Congress seeks to protect work authorisation of H-1B spouses

H-4 visas are issued to the spouses of H-1B foreign workers. The H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa through which many Indian workers are employed in US. H-4 visas are issued only to immediate family members of H-1B visa holders. Legislation by lawmakers Anna G Eshoo and Zoe Lofgren seeks to prohibit Trump administration from revoking the work authorisation of H-4 visa holders.
