Airtel Is 5G Ready: Network Just Needs A Software Update And Regulatory Approval To Flip The Switch

Airtel says they used the existing technology neutral spectrum on the 1800MHz band and now have the capability to operate 5G networks on 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz as well as the 800 MHz and 900 MHz bands. The company says they can deploy 5G on their networks in a matter of months.
