Tiger kills and eats tigress in territorial fight

“The animal that got killed seems to be a tigress while the cannibal is a tiger. Though there have been instances of cannibalism among animals, but in tigers, it is rare,” said Kanha’s field director K Krishnamurthy, adding that the killing might be a result of a “territorial fight.”
